Business and Investment Opportunities in Bahrain Webinar

Business and Investment Opportunities in Bahrain Webinar

A lot still seems unpredictable, but we can and should spot new opportunities for the future. This holds especially true when focusing on international business activities. Partnering with the Bahrain Economic Development Board, we launch a platform that enables us all to discuss these tendencies and showcase investment opportunities in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The Kingdom of Bahrain is one of the most dynamic and accessible economies in the Gulf region. Due to its well-diversified economy, supported by an exceptional investment pipeline, the Kingdom is an attractive place for businesses and investors alike. Over the past century, Bahrain has pioneered in a range of fields, from being one of the first countries in the region to discover oil, first to implement formal education and first to diversify its economy and become the financial hub in the area. As an investment destination and a base from which to access the fast-growing Gulf market, Bahrain is seen as one of the most business-friendly countries in the Middle East. According to the International Monetary Fund, it is predicted that the Bahraini economy is set to recover post the Covid-19 pandemic and grow by 2.99% by 2021. Germany has been an important trading partner for Bahrain since the beginning of the bilateral relations in 1972, with trade volumes reaching EUR 473.9 million in 2019. Currently, there are investible opportunities for local, national and international companies across several sectors – ICT, Manufacturing, Financial services, Downstream industries, Logistics, and Healthcare to name a few.
